About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded Director of Reimbursement Analyst to join our accounting team.
Primary Role and Responsibilities Perform research and analysis as needed with new or proposed changes in multiple state reimbursement methodology Develop financial rate projections and present projections in a comprehensible manner to both accounting and operational partners Review Reimbursement Analyst analysis of multiple Medicaid rates as appropriate on a quarterly or annual basis to determine the reimbursement impact on state regulations and proposed audit adjustments Teach Reimbursement Analyst full rate methodology and cost report impact Keep up-to-date on Medicare and Medicaid regulations and communicate with all levels of the service center personnel and operational partners Work with operations on impacts to rates for various operational scenarios Reviews current analysis of trends and variances regarding net reimbursement rates Work with operations on Legislative Advocacy Assist in the review of multiple states Medicare and Medicaid cost reports Qualifications Bachelors in Accounting or Finance 7
Years of Reimbursement/Cost Reporting OR Health Program Auditing experience Advanced computer skill level in Excel Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Able to work collaboratively with all departments/levels within organization Willingness to learn and teach others Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills What You'll Receive In Return As part of the Ensign family, you'll enjoy many perks including but not limited to:
