The Shipping Assistant is a member of a team that is responsible for processing, packing and shipping of online orders, keeping accurate inventory, unpacking and receiving shipments as well as cleaning and organizing the warehouse.
The individual team members may be responsible for any one or more of the duties that need to be performed in order to complete these objectives.
NO WALK INS OR CALLS PLEASE! The Shipping Assistant is a member of a team that is responsible for processing, packing and shipping of online orders, keeping accurate inventory, unpacking and receiving shipments as well as cleaning and organizing the warehouse.
The individual team members may be responsible for any one or more of the duties that need to be performed to complete these objectives.
Responsibilities:
Fulfilling orders would consist of:
Pulling the correct product from product shelves located in the warehouse.
Scan to fulfill.
Maintaining Quality Control Checking to make sure the correct items and quantities were pulled and putting the items on a packing table for further processing.
Packing and shipping products encompasses:
Packing the order in to ensure safe delivery to our customers and confirming the correct items are included.
Printing invoices from E-commerce platform and accurately filling them.
Printing labels and putting labels on shipments utilizing ShipStation, USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.
Meeting deadlines while maintaining shipping accuracy.
Maintaining the warehouse would include:
Responsible for cleaning and organizing the warehouse.
This includes:
sweeping, picking up trash, and generally keeping the warehouse clean.
At the request of his or her supervisor, the shipping assistant may be asked to reorganize the warehouse in order to improve efficiency.
Restocking shelves Inventory management and related work may include counting and keeping track of items.
Shipping supplies management and reordering.
The Manufacturing Assistant is a member of a team that is responsible for filling, labeling and stocking Alana Mitchell products.
The individual team members may be responsible for any one or more of the duties that need to be performed to complete these objectives.
Responsibilities:
Filling product would consist of:
Sanitizing bottles and lids in a sterile environment Filling sanitized bottles with AM product using food safety standards Labeling product would consist of:
Placing labels on filled product in a consistent manner Placing labels on product that comes to us already packaged Keeping track of all the bottles, lids, labels, etc.
that are used in the manufacturing process and getting those counts onto an inventory sheet.
Experience required:
- 1
years of shipping/packing/retail/food service experience.
- Previous pulling/packing experience is a plus.
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Ability to lift up to 30+lbs.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Superb attention to detail in a high volume and fast-pace environment.
- Display a positive attitude towards customers and team members.
- Comfortable doing recurrent tasks on a daily basis.
- High attention to detail.
- Accurately count hundreds of products for Inventory checks.
- Access to reliable transportation to and from work, and report to work as scheduled.
Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
