We are a tax office is seeking a bookkeeper who is experienced in Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks desktop.
The ability to multi-task with a diverse group of accounting clients.
Applicant must have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be a self-starter and flexible with client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting duties, including but not limited to, double entry bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations - Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP - Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including the preparation of tax returns and supporting schedules - Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records - Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions - Utilize accounting software such as Quickbook Desktop and Quickbooks Online to perform daily tasks efficiently Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance procedures - Experience in private equity or financial services industry is preferred - Proficient in double entry bookkeeping principles - Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage or similar platforms - Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail - Solid understanding of debits and credits - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Strong written and verbal communication skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
