Front Office Coordinator

A very busy/high volume specialty practice is in need of a Front Office Coordinator to start immediately. The position is full time with various shifts available for our multiple office practice.
Duties and tasks include being responsible for greeting patients pleasantly, answering phones, processing patient's forms and documentation, processing patients through the check in/check out process, collecting co-pays and payments; and performing other various Front Office duties in a fast paced, customer-service, clinical environment.
Other duties include: Collecting payments for all services, balance cash drawer and preparing charge tickets.

Requirements:
At least one year of recent experience in a Front Office position. Experience in the specialties of Allergy and Asthma/ENT/Pulmonology/Peds a Plus.
Verifying insurance and eligibility per protocol. Experience with obtaining authorizations from various HMO's required.
Flexiblity with shift availability
Willingness to travel to locations in Irvine, Mission Viejo and San Clemente

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
