Sr. Integration Engineer
The Sr Integration Engineer position will be a key member of an agile enterprise data group delivering integrations in, out and between systems across James Hardie s systems landscape.
You will partner with IT and business to support the continued growth and success of James Hardie in a robust and cohesive team.
In order to be successful, the Sr Integration Engineer works closely with Business Analysts and end users to design, develop, test, and implement interfaces to/from various Enterprise Systems and the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to effectively meet business requirements.
The position will be developing and supporting an Informatica cloud environment utilizing IICS, as well as, additional tools in the future.
In addition to project work, this position will also provide Business As Usual (BAU) support for the existing environments in a global team.
Position Responsibilities
- Design and development with Informatica IICS in either/both Data Warehousing and Enterprise Integration projects
- Understand the transformation design needs for a specific set of data
- Build Integration jobs to transfer and transform data to the other systems
- Test the integrations to ensure that the developed code is running in accordance to the plan
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to accomplish various tasks and projects
- Provides ongoing Business as Usual (BAU) support for the Integration platforms including on-call support
- Works directly with Business Users to understand the Integration need and may also coordinate integration work of external resources

Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems or Information Technology related field
- 8
years experience as an integration engineer utilizing Informatica tools (Powercenter or IICS) is required - 2
year experience specifically using Informatica IICS cloud-based tools is required - Strong SQL coding skills for data analysis and testing
- Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
- Demonstrated Teamwork / collaboration expertise with experience in taking a leadership role in team / project activities.
- Understanding of full life cycle development methodology
- Demonstrated ability to remain effective and productive in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to guide external resources in the completion of integration work
- Ability to provide after-hours support as required

.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
